Executive Director of PT CCEPC Indonesia, Gao Hai, receives the Detik Green Economy Award 2026 in recognition of the company’s commitment to developing renewable energy talent.
JAKARTA, September 3, 2026 — PT CCEPC Indonesia received the Detik Green Economy Award 2026 in the Social Responsibility Commitment category. The award recognizes the company’s efforts to support the development of green energy talent through collaboration with Ujung Pandang State Polytechnic (PNUP) and Wuhan Electric Power Technical College (WHETC).
For CCEPC Indonesia, the award is not only a recognition of a particular program, but also an opportunity to reflect on how talent development, knowledge sharing, and cross-team collaboration have become part of the company’s journey to continue growing and contributing in Indonesia.

Detail of the Detik Green Economy Award 2026 trophy in the Social Responsibility Commitment category received by PT CCEPC Indonesia.
The collaboration between CCEPC Indonesia, PNUP, and WHETC was marked by the signing of a memorandum of understanding and the inauguration of the Wuhan Electric Power Technical College Indonesia Green Energy Talent Development Base at the PNUP campus on December 2, 2025.
The center was designed as a platform connecting vocational education and industry, with activities focused on curriculum and training development, technical knowledge exchange, and strengthening competencies in the green energy sector.
For CCEPC Indonesia, this collaboration is also part of the company’s efforts to connect its engineering and technological expertise with Indonesia’s local needs.
For CCEPC Indonesia, local talent development is neither a stand-alone nor a temporary initiative. Talent development is part of the fundamental capabilities that must be continuously strengthened to enable the company to grow and operate sustainably in Indonesia.
In this context, knowledge sharing plays an important role in the localization process. CCEPC’s experience in engineering, equipment technology, project management, and talent development can be shared with local teams while being integrated with an understanding of Indonesia’s market, industry needs, regulations, and business environment.
This approach means that localization is not simply about increasing the number of local employees, but also about developing capabilities that can be jointly built and applied by Indonesian and Chinese teams.

The moment PT CCEPC Indonesia receives the award. This achievement encourages the company to further strengthen collaboration and knowledge transfer with its local teams.
According to Gao Hai, Executive Director of PT CCEPC Indonesia, the award further strengthens the company’s commitment to continuing local talent development and knowledge sharing as part of CCEPC Indonesia’s long-term foundation in the country.
Mr. Gao believes that, in order to continue growing and establishing deeper roots in Indonesia, CCEPC needs to combine China’s experience in engineering, equipment technology, project management, and talent development with Indonesia’s local market, local teams, and industry needs.
This process requires the participation of all employees. Chinese employees have an important role in actively sharing technical standards, engineering experience, project management methods, and corporate management expertise. At the same time, Indonesian employees bring valuable strengths through their understanding of the local language, culture, resources, regulations, and market conditions.
Through hands-on project experience, training, daily collaboration, and the continuous review of lessons learned, both groups are expected to learn from one another and grow together.
This message reinforces the view that localization at CCEPC Indonesia is not measured solely by the number of local employees. More importantly, it is about how Indonesian and Chinese teams can build shared capabilities, experience, and responsibilities.
With this approach, knowledge sharing does not take place only through formal programs. It also happens through everyday work—from how teams collaborate on projects and solve problems to how they communicate across cultures, evaluate their work, and share lessons after projects are completed.
For all employees, this process creates opportunities not only to receive knowledge but also to contribute their own expertise and experience. In this way, every individual can play a role in strengthening CCEPC Indonesia’s capabilities.
Looking ahead, CCEPC Indonesia, together with PNUP and WHETC, will continue developing the talent center while ensuring that its learning materials remain aligned with industry developments. The collaboration is expected to grow progressively and deliver increasingly broader benefits for Indonesia’s young talent.
For CCEPC Indonesia, this journey is part of a broader process: building a company that is increasingly connected to Indonesia while serving as a bridge between China’s engineering experience, Indonesia’s local needs, and the development of future talent.
Mr. Gao emphasized that the ultimate goal is not simply to build a company with more local talent, but to build a company with genuine local capabilities—one that can contribute to the development of Indonesia’s industries while also supporting CCEPC’s international growth.
The award marks an important achievement. However, for CCEPC Indonesia, the journey of building capabilities, sharing knowledge, and growing together with Indonesia continues.
