To celebrate the 103rd anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China (CPC), carry forward the great spirit of Party building, and inspire Party members and employees to remain dedicated, motivated, and committed to excellence, the Structural Engineering Party Branch organized a “Celebrating July 1” themed Party Day activity on June 29. All Party members and department staff participated in the event, which featured a series of meaningful activities, including welcoming a new Party member, revisiting Party history, reading excerpts from the Party Constitution, and celebrating Party members’ political birthdays. Through these solemn yet warm and uplifting ceremonies, participants paid tribute to the Party.
The event began with an oath-taking ceremony for a newly admitted Party member. The Party Branch Secretary presented the new member with a Party emblem and a bouquet of flowers, symbolizing both honor and responsibility. All participants then watched a short video on the history of the Communist Party of China, reflecting on the Party’s 103 years of struggle and achievement.
Young Party members He Zhongyu and Zhu Qian recited selected passages from the Party Constitution, helping all participants deepen their understanding of its principles while reinforcing their sense of responsibility and pride as Party members. The Party Branch Secretary also presented commemorative “Political Birthday” greeting cards to Party members whose Party membership anniversaries fall in July. This meaningful tradition enhanced the sense of ceremony surrounding political birthdays while creating an atmosphere that was both solemn and warm. The event concluded with Party members and employees gathering together to share a celebration cake in honor of the occasion.
Through this “Celebrating July 1” themed Party Day activity, Party members and employees were encouraged to revisit the Party’s history, strengthen their determination, remember the Party’s remarkable achievements, and draw inspiration from its enduring spirit of perseverance. The event further enhanced Party members’ sense of honor and responsibility while encouraging both Party members and employees to draw strength from the Party’s great journey. Participants expressed their commitment to shouldering the responsibilities of employees in a state-owned enterprise in the new era, fulfilling their duties with greater dedication and higher standards, and making new contributions to the company’s sustainable, high-quality development.
