On September 25, the Water Affairs Party Branch held its September Party Member Meeting and themed Party Day activity. The meeting was chaired by Sun Yong, Secretary of the Party Branch, with all Party members in attendance.
As the first agenda item, all Party members carefully studied General Secretary Xi Jinping’s recent important speeches and instructions delivered at the “BRICS+” Leaders Dialogue, during his inspection in Heilongjiang Province, and at the symposium on advancing comprehensive revitalization of Northeast China in the new era.
The meeting also conveyed and studied the spirit of the first-phase summary and second-phase deployment conference on the themed education of studying and implementing Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, organized by China Minmetals and the Wuhan Municipal Government. It required all Party members to effectively implement the guiding principles and specific work requirements issued by China Minmetals and Wuhan authorities.
Sun Yong provided an in-depth introduction to the book On Party Self-Reform, and urged all Party members to continuously study and deeply understand the publication. He emphasized the importance of fully grasping the decisive significance of the “Two Establishes,” strengthening the “Four Consciousnesses,” reinforcing confidence in the “Four-Sphere Confidence,” and ensuring the “Two Upholds.” He also reminded members to always recognize that comprehensive and strict Party governance is an ongoing process, and that Party self-reform is likewise a continuous journey, calling for persistent and unwavering efforts to advance strict Party governance in all respects.
