Opening session of the Indonesia-China Education-Industry Collaboration Summit 2026 in Jakarta.
Jakarta, September 10, 2026 — PT CCEPC Indonesia participated in the Indonesia-China Education-Industry Collaboration Summit 2026, a forum that brought together Indonesian higher education institutions and Chinese companies operating in Indonesia. This year, the forum was attended by approximately 200 representatives from nearly 100 Indonesian universities and more than 20 Chinese companies.
At the event, CCEPC Indonesia was represented through a company booth managed by the HR & Organizational Development team. Throughout the event, the team engaged directly with students, alumni, and prospective candidates to introduce the company and initiate conversations about career opportunities at CCEPC Indonesia. The booth also showcased CCEPC Indonesia’s profile through bilingual corporate materials and supporting information for visitors.

The company’s participation also provided an opportunity for the HR team to expand its talent pool. Through interactions during the event, the team collected information from prospective candidates who may be considered for CCEPC Indonesia’s upcoming Management Trainee (MT) program, including candidates with Mandarin language proficiency relevant to the company’s communication and operational needs.
Beyond recruitment, the forum provided a platform for discussions on potential forms of collaboration between industry and educational institutions. One of the sessions attended by the CCEPC Indonesia team was a presentation by Universitas Gadjah Mada titled “Building Trust Between Industry-University,” which explored various models of collaboration among universities, industries, and employers. The presentation served as a valuable reference for the company in exploring potential internship programs, applied research initiatives, and other forms of academic collaboration in the future.

During the same forum, Stella Christie, Indonesia’s Vice Minister of Higher Education, Science, and Technology, highlighted the importance of developing a skilled workforce and strengthening collaboration between higher education institutions and industry. According to the presentation delivered at the event, enhancing workforce competencies is becoming increasingly relevant as industry needs continue to evolve, particularly in the energy and technology sectors.
For CCEPC Indonesia, participation in the forum served as an opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of Indonesia’s talent ecosystem while strengthening relationships with educational institutions. The company also signed a Letter of Intent (LOI) as an initial step toward exploring future collaboration in talent development.
Following the event, the HR & Organizational Development team will continue to follow up on the candidate database collected during the forum and explore potential partnerships with relevant higher education institutions. Opportunities identified in the event report include structured internship programs, applied research initiatives, and other forms of academic collaboration that can be tailored to the company’s needs.
