To further advance Party discipline education and implement the requirements of the 2024 Warning Education Month campaign, the company held a special lecture on Party discipline education on the afternoon of July 5. Professor Wang Hui, Director of the Department of Political Science and Law at the Party School of the Hubei Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China, was invited to deliver a keynote lecture on the Regulations on Disciplinary Actions of the Communist Party of China. The lecture was chaired by Xiao Hanping, Member of the Company’s Party Committee and Secretary of the Commission for Discipline Inspection.
Drawing on a series of representative cases, Professor Wang Hui provided a comprehensive interpretation of the revised Regulations, explaining the key features of the amendments, the principal provisions, and the common forms of disciplinary violations. His presentation offered systematic guidance for Party members and officials in understanding and applying the Regulations. Delivered in a clear and engaging manner, the lecture served as an effective warning education session, further enhancing participants’ understanding of Party discipline and regulations. It also provided strong disciplinary guidance for translating the study and promotion of the Regulations into concrete actions that support the implementation of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era.
In his concluding remarks, Xiao Hanping emphasized that all Party members and officials should draw profound lessons from the representative cases presented during the lecture. He called on participants to strengthen their political awareness through diligent study of Party discipline, accurately grasp the core principles of the Regulations, and enhance their ideological commitment through a deeper understanding of Party rules. He also encouraged all members to maintain a rigorous spirit of self-examination, internalize Party discipline, and, after learning, understanding, and observing Party regulations, put them into practice by making discipline the guiding principle for both thought and action. By transforming disciplinary requirements into political awareness and practical action, Party members can contribute to the company’s sustainable, high-quality development through dedication and hard work.
