On June 27, the Waste Gas Treatment Party Branch successfully held a special Party lecture and warning education meeting as part of its study and education campaign on thoroughly implementing the spirit of the Central Eight-Point Rules. Hu Xin, Member of the Company’s Party Committee and Deputy General Manager, attended the meeting and delivered the Party lecture. The meeting was chaired by Yang Jian, Secretary of the Party Branch, and was attended by all Party members based in Wuhan.
As the first agenda item, participants studied and implemented the important instructions of General Secretary Xi Jinping on promoting cultural and ethical advancement.
Yang Jian led all Party members in studying typical cases involving violations of the spirit of the Central Eight-Point Rules and conveyed the requirements of higher-level authorities regarding the campaign to rectify improper dining and entertainment practices. He encouraged all Party members and officials to strengthen their awareness of discipline and regulations, strictly comply with the “Ten Prohibitions,” and resolutely prevent any violations related to improper banquets or hospitality. The meeting also included a study session on Thoroughly Studying and Implementing the Spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping’s Important Speeches to Accelerate the Building of a World-Class Metal and Mineral Enterprise Group Through Dedicated Efforts and Practical Work—The Vivid Practice of Shanghai Baoye and the National Sliding Center Project Team in Upholding the “Five Core Principles.”
Hu Xin delivered a special Party lecture entitled “Deepening the Study and Education on the Implementation of the Central Eight-Point Rules.” He called on all Party members and officials to thoroughly study and understand General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important discussions on strengthening Party conduct, as well as the Central Eight-Point Rules and their implementing measures, in order to build a strong ideological defense against corruption and misconduct. He also urged Party members to take the lead in practicing integrity and self-discipline, consciously resist all forms of temptation, and maintain a clear sense of discipline in both words and actions.
During the meeting, the Waste Gas Treatment Party Branch also held a public commitment ceremony on Party conduct and clean governance, during which Party members pledged to uphold integrity, fulfill their responsibilities, and honor their commitments through concrete actions.
