On October 15, the Hubei Chamber of Commerce of China in Indonesia officially held its inauguration ceremony in Jakarta with great fanfare. The event was attended by hundreds of political and business leaders from Indonesia, representatives of Chinese institutions, and delegates from Chinese chambers of commerce from various provinces across Indonesia.
They gathered to witness a historic moment for Hubei entrepreneurs in Indonesia. Thanks to its years of steady development, strong corporate reputation, and outstanding contributions in the fields of energy and environmental protection, the company was successfully elected as Vice Chairman of the Hubei Chamber of Commerce of China in Indonesia.
The conference carried the theme “Zhiyin Hubei, Meeting in Indonesia”, symbolizing that the spirit of Hubei entrepreneurs transcends mountains and seas, fostering mutual understanding and support while jointly writing a new chapter in China–Indonesia cooperation. Business associations and Chinese community organizations attending the event expressed their willingness to work alongside the Hubei Chamber of Commerce to promote unity, mutual assistance, and win-win cooperation among Chinese entrepreneurs in Indonesia, while further deepening economic, trade, and cultural exchanges between China and Indonesia.
During the meeting, the primary mission of the Hubei Chamber of Commerce in Indonesia was emphasized: to unite Hubei entrepreneurs and individuals residing in Indonesia and provide comprehensive services to its members, including information consultation, legal support, and business cooperation facilitation. In addition, the organization is committed to promoting economic and trade exchanges between Indonesia and Hubei, helping member companies achieve stable growth in the Indonesian market, and enabling “Made in Hubei” and the “Wisdom of Chu Entrepreneurs” to shine on the global stage.
Since its establishment, the company has firmly rooted itself in the Indonesian market and has been committed to the research, development, and application of energy and environmental technologies. To date, the company has constructed 47 high-capacity power generation units with a total installed capacity exceeding 12 GW and an estimated annual power generation of more than 80 billion kWh. With these achievements, the company has become one of the entities with the largest installed capacity and the most comprehensive project portfolio in Indonesia.
In the field of environmental management, the company has also completed more than 20 major flue gas desulfurization and denitrification projects, which annually reduce sulfur dioxide emissions by approximately 1.1 million tons and nitrogen oxide emissions by more than 40,000 tons. These efforts have made tangible contributions to environmental improvement and sustainable development in the local region.
