To thoroughly study and implement the spirit of the Fourth Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC) and ensure that the thoughts and actions of all employees are aligned with the major decisions and strategic deployments of the CPC Central Committee, the company held a special study session on December 15. The session featured a keynote presentation by Liu Gengsheng, Secretary of the Party Committee and General Manager of the company.
In his presentation, Liu Gengsheng focused on General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important speeches and the Recommendations of the Fourth Plenary Session of the 20th CPC Central Committee. He systematically explained and interpreted the significance of the plenary session, the strategic role, primary objectives, key tasks, and major initiatives for the 15th Five-Year Plan period, as well as the importance of upholding and strengthening the Party’s overall leadership and effectively implementing the spirit of the plenary session. Drawing on the company’s actual operations, he provided an in-depth analysis of how the session’s principles should guide future development and corporate governance.
Liu Gengsheng emphasized four key priorities. First, all Party organizations at every level must thoroughly study and faithfully implement the spirit of the Fourth Plenary Session of the 20th CPC Central Committee by raising political awareness and strengthening learning, communication, and publicity efforts with higher standards, more practical measures, and stricter requirements. Second, leveraging the Group’s “Year of Improving Party Building” initiative, the company should continue to innovate Party-building mechanisms and closely integrate the enhancement of grassroots Party-building quality with the implementation of the plenary session’s spirit and the successful completion of year-end priorities. Third, the company should scientifically plan its future development. As 2026 marks the first year of the 15th Five-Year Plan, all departments should closely follow the plenary session’s deployment on comprehensively deepening reform, while systematically reviewing the development strategy of core business segments in light of industry trends and the company’s strategic positioning. Fourth, the company should decisively move beyond conventional thinking and path dependence by establishing a dynamic policy tracking and learning mechanism to ensure timely understanding and implementation of new policies, new requirements, and new strategic directives.
The meeting was attended by Party branch secretaries, department directors and above, management personnel, Youth League members, employee representatives, representatives from the united front, Party members stationed at overseas offices, members of the leadership teams of subsidiaries, and assistant general managers.
